On arrival at the airport, you’ll be met by one of our representatives outside the exit gate. Just keep a look out for a friendly man holding a placard with your name on it. The representative will take you to your car, from where you’ll be whisked off to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to do with as you please.
Colombo like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its face. Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood. Yet in some parts, the old world charm is retained. For example, there is a 100-year-old clock tower and several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are the Pettah bazaar - where one can shop for bargain, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas - where you find stately homes of the affluent and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH)- an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China.
The driver will take you to Kandy ( 2 Hrs 15 Mins / 115 Kms approx.). Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to take breaks for refreshments and photography.
Today we will visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage ,Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village, 13 km (8.1 mi) northwest of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. Pinnawala is notable for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. In 2011, there were 88 elephants, including 37 males and 51 females from 3 generations, living in Pinnawala.
The orphanage was originally founded in order to afford care and protection to many of the orphaned unweaned wild elephants found wandering in and near the forests of Sri Lanka. It was established in 1975 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation (DWC).
Visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Kandy town including a visit to the sacred temple of the tooth relic. Thereafter witness a Cultural show. On completion return to hotel in Kandy.

Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya is situated about 5.5 km to the west from the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka and attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is renowned for its collection of a variety of orchids. It includes more than 4000 species of plants, including of orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees
The driver will take you to Nuwara Eliya ( 1 Hr 30 Mins / 78 Kms approx.). Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to take breaks for refreshments and photography.
Visit a Tea Plantation and factory. Thereafter enjoy a sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya.Upon completion return to hotel in Nuwara Eliya.Rest day at leisure .

The driver will take you to Bentota( 4 Hrs / 210 Kms approx.). Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to take breaks for refreshments and photography.
Morning enjoy a boat ride on the Madu river in Balapitiya. Return to hotel. En route visit the Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda.Overnight stay at hotel
The day is free to spend as per your interests. We have nothing planned for today as far as sightseeing or activities are concerned, however your hotel accommodation remains same as chosen.

Commence city tour of *Colombo - a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and Independence Square.
Shopping in Colombo - Visit Mlesna exquisite tea boutique, cashew nut shop, ready made garments and all sorts at Majestic City. Visit the Lanka Ceramics Centre, a place where you can buy “NORITAKE SET” or other ceramic items, visit the ‘ODEL SHOP’. Visit ’BAREFOOT’, ’HOUSE OF FASHION’ and 'BEVERLY Street'.
The driver will take you to Negombo ( 01 Hrs / 40 Kms approx.). Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to take breaks for refreshments and photography.
